After arduous discussions and considerable delay due to procedural manoeuvring and sometimes contradictory feedback from the Syrian authorities, a location was determined for the questioning of five Syrian officials.

Meetings, workshops, luncheon discussions, participation in NGO Caucuses were as many occasions during committee Sessions and PrepCom meetings to promote discussions and lobby official delegates.

And that is partly due to its people, partly due to the architecture in the historical center, also due to the cultural offerings (even hackers can be found there!).

I fail to see how discussions on improving security in space, or discussions on dealing with the subject of nuclear disarmament, could threaten anyone's security interests.
