Invites those intergovernmental organizations and entities that have observer status with the General Assembly to participate in the High level Dialogue

Having also considered the summary by the President of the General Assembly of the High level Dialogue on Financing for Development,

At its fifty eighth session, the General Assembly decided that in 2006 it would devote a high level dialogue to international migration and development and requested the Secretary General to report to the Assembly at its sixtieth session on the organizational details of the high level dialogue (resolution 58 208).

Only official documents of the High level Plenary Meeting, bearing the General Assembly document symbol and texts of statements to be delivered in plenary meetings will be distributed in the General Assembly Hall.

The General Assembly, by its resolution 58 291 of 6 May 2004, decided to convene at the commencement of the sixtieth session of the General Assembly, a High level Plenary Meeting of the Assembly with the participation of Heads of State and Government.

At its fifty eighth session, the General Assembly decided to convene in New York in 2005, at the commencement of the sixtieth session of the Assembly, a high level plenary meeting of the Assembly, on dates to be decided by the Assembly at its fifty ninth session (resolution 58 291).

4. Invites those intergovernmental organizations and entities that have observer status with the General Assembly to participate in the High level Dialogue

The discussions at the upcoming High level Plenary Meeting of the General Assembly will no doubt contribute significantly to the building process.

Decides that the participants in the High level Dialogue will participate in accordance with the rules of procedure of the General Assembly

In accordance with resolution 59 145, the General Assembly held a separate meeting on financing for development within the framework of the High level Plenary Meeting of the sixtieth session of the General Assembly.
