21.53 The outputs of the Administrative Services Division include the following

Unesco Tools Unesco has published a set of tools, to support the FRESH framework, to guide those wishing to set up school health services around the world.

We also want to be a clearinghouse for vendors of health oriented tools, services, and programs.

Others are available from Citymart.com, a marketplace for such tools (as well as more operational software and services).

These projects will increasingly offer an appropriate mix of tools and services duly integrated into the project strategy.

Within the Office, the Division of Administrative Services is responsible for providing those services and the implementation of the work programme under this section.

21.52 Programme support comprises the Administrative Services Division and the Programme Planning and Technical Cooperation Division.

In paragraph 29 of that resolution, the Assembly noted that the Administrative Law Unit had the multiple functions of administrative review, appeals, disciplinary matters and advisory services.

The Advisory Committee notes that a total of 91 new posts are requested under this component, including 1 in the office of the Chief Administrative Officer, 20 under administrative services, 27 under integrated support services and 43 in the Security Section.

17.1 The Administrative Services Division is headed by a Chief who is accountable to the Executive Secretary.

28F.25 During the biennium 2006 2007, the following final outputs will be delivered administrative support services

(v) Administrative support for information and communication technology services, including the processing of contracts and related invoices

The services that UNOPS provides are (a) programme support and complex project management (b) loan administration and project supervision and (c) procurement of goods and services, including human resources administrative and advisory services.

The administrative office of the Tribunal would provide services to the secretariat of the Tribunal in connection with personnel, budgetary and financial administration and use of common services, together with the relating administrative support to the Tribunal when it is in session .

The projects, which cost between 5,000 and 10,000, pay for necessities, such as seeds and simple farming tools, with not a penny spent on administrative costs.

56 per cent of the administrative staff and 55 per cent of staff in general services were women.

It should be noted that costs for administrative and operational services (AOS) are now included in programme expenditure.

This includes upholding the rule of law through administrative and civil services and through legal and judicial institutions.

This task sets up a basic user environment, providing a reasonably small selection of services and tools usable on the command line.

The facilities used for oversight, monitoring and reporting will see continuous improvement through the use of web enabled tools, reporting and services.

Another related development is vendor relationship management (VRM), which provide tools and services that allow customers to manage their individual relationship with vendors.

A training manual for the region was prepared, addressing the integration of water policies, institutional and legislative tools and the administrative methods required for integrated water resources management.

Communications, client services, training of staff, including the administrative staff of the member organizations, are recent additions to these responsibilities.

The justice system still requires structural reform, more qualified and committed officials, adequate legal education, and the necessary administrative tools and physical infrastructure to administer justice fairly and effectively.

While some organizations had adopted harmonized procedures and common tools, they tended to retain their own administrative requirements, creating additional bureaucratic burdens for Governments and the United Nations system.

Article 19 also had to do with errors committed by services through negligence, for which administrative sanctions were particularly well suited.

Administrative and financial services programme assists the Executive Secretary in the planning, development, coordination, control and management of the secretariat's resources.

Tools include seed funding, training, consultation services, interest free proposal development loans and more flexible mortgage loan insurance to facilitate the financing of affordable housing.
