Measuring the degree of vulnerability to food insecurity is the first step in poverty assessment.

In these situations it was not possible to assess whether security in the locations concerned had been restored.

Security and regional cooperation are paramount components of any assessment we may be making of United Nations performance and achievement.

We agree fully with the Secretary General's assessment that there is a need for a new international consensus on the future of collective security.

As a troop contributing country, Nepal held that arrangements should be made for such countries to assess the security situation of the host country before the deploying forces.

Taking into account significant developments in the legal framework underpinning nuclear security, the programme will now focus on three principal areas, namely, assessing nuclear security needs, threat analysis and coordination preventing malicious activities involving nuclear and radioactive materials and detecting and responding to malicious activities.
