They say God has begotten a son .

And the disbelievers said , The Most Gracious has chosen an offspring .

And they say , ' The All merciful has taken unto Himself a son .

And they say the Compassionate hath taken a son . Chapter 19

And they say The Most Beneficent ( Allah ) has begotten a son ( or offspring or children ) as the Jews say ' Uzair ( Ezra ) is the son of Allah , and the Christians say that He has begotten a son ' Iesa ( Christ ) , and the pagan Arabs say that He has begotten daughters ( angels , etc . ) .

And they say , The Most Merciful has begotten a son .

They claim The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself .
