لهم بالإنجليزية

لاني اشهد لهم ان لهم غيرة الله ولكن ليس حسب المعرفة.

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.

فقال لهم يسوع لا حاجة لهم ان يمضوا. اعطوهم انتم ليأكلوا.

But Jesus said to them, "They don't need to go away. You give them something to eat."

فقال لهم ليس الجميع يقبلون هذا الكلام بل الذين أعطي لهم.

But he said to them, "Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.

أيذبح لهم غنم وبقر ليكفيهم ام يجمع لهم كل سمك البحر ليكفيهم

Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?"

« ثم إني أَعلنت لهم » صوتي « وأسررت » الكلام « لهم إسرارا ».

And declared to them in public and in private,

‎والله العارف القلوب شهد لهم معطيا لهم الروح القدس كما لنا ايضا.

God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.

فعمل يشوع لهم صلحا وقطع لهم عهدا لاستحيائهم وحلف لهم رؤساء الجماعة.

Joshua made peace with them, and made a covenant with them, to let them live. The princes of the congregation swore to them.

ولبني هرون تصنع اقمصة وتصنع لهم مناطق وتصنع لهم قلانس للمجد والبهاء.

"You shall make coats for Aaron's sons, and you shall make sashes for them and you shall make headbands for them, for glory and for beauty.

و أجلستهم، وقدمت لهم أكواب الماء -- حسنا، تذكرت. قدمت لهم أكواب الماء.

And I sat them down, and I got them glasses of water -- OK, I got it. I got them glasses of water.

« أم لهم » أي عندهم « شركاء » موافقون لهم في هذا القول يكفلون به لهم فإن كان كذلك « فليأتوا بشركائهم » الكافلين لهم به « إن كانوا صادقين ».

Or have they any partners? Let them bring their partners then, if what they say is true.

« إن الذين ارتدوا » بالنفاق « على أدبارهم من بعد ما تبين لهم الهدى الشيطان سوَّل » أي زيَّن « لهم وأَُملى لهم » بضم أوله وبفتحه واللام والمملي الشيطان بإرادته تعالى فهو المضل لهم.

Those who turn their backs after the way of guidance has been opened to them, have been surely tempted by Satan and beguiled by illusory hopes.
