“23. The Committee is concerned that various provisions of the Press Law, and their frequent invocations, are difficult to reconcile with the provisions of article 19 of the Covenant.
"23- وتشعر اللجنة بالقلق لأن أحكاماً مختلفة من قانون الصحافة، وتواتر الاستشهاد بها، يصعب توفيقها مع أحكام المادة 19 من العهد.
As regards the author's claim under article 19 of the Covenant, the Committee notes that he invoked “the right of political and social criticism and of the freedom of the press” on appeal.
وفيما يتعلق بادعاء صاحب البلاغ بموجب أحكام المادة 19 من العهد، تلاحظ اللجنة أن صاحب البلاغ قد استند في استئنافه إلى "الحق في توجيه انتقادات سياسية واجتماعية، وفي حرية الصحافة".
