Are thy days as the days of man? are thy years as man's days,

أأيامك كايام الانسان ام سنوك كايام الرجل

Man that is born of a woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

الانسان مولود المرأة قليل الايام وشبعان تعبا.

Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.

الانسان اشبه نفخة. ايامه مثل ظل عابر

Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

الانسان اشبه نفخة. ايامه مثل ظل عابر

"Man, who is born of a woman, is of few days, and full of trouble.

الانسان مولود المرأة قليل الايام وشبعان تعبا.

"He who touches the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days:

من مسّ ميتا ميتة انسان ما يكون نجسا سبعة ايام.

He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days.

من مسّ ميتا ميتة انسان ما يكون نجسا سبعة ايام.

And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

وكما كان في ايام نوح كذلك يكون ايضا في ايام ابن الانسان.

"Isn't a man forced to labor on earth? Aren't his days like the days of a hired hand?

أليس جهاد للانسان على الارض وكايام الاجير ايامه.

As it happened in the days of Noah, even so will it be also in the days of the Son of Man.

وكما كان في ايام نوح كذلك يكون ايضا في ايام ابن الانسان.

Is there not an appointed time to man upon earth? are not his days also like the days of an hireling?

أليس جهاد للانسان على الارض وكايام الاجير ايامه.

A man who had been sentenced to 6 years imprisonment for rape was released after 3 months and 10 days; Another man sentenced to 6 and a half years for rape was released after 3 months and 12 days.

(ب) وهناك رجل كان قد عوقب بالسجن لمدة ست سنوات ونصف في جريمة اغتصاب، ثم أطلق سراحه بعد 3 أشهر و 12 يوما.
