By the Firmament which returns ( in its round ),

« والسماء ذات الرجع » المطر لعوده كل حين.

By the Firmament and its ( wonderful ) structure;

« والسماء وما بناها ».

On the Day when the firmament will be in dreadful commotion.

« يوم » مفعول لواقع « تمور السماء مورا » تتحرك وتدور.

What does astronomy tell us about “the starry firmament above”?

ولكن بماذا ينبئنا علم الفلك عن السماوات المزدانة بالنجوم أعلانا؟

And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth,

وجعلها الله في جلد السماء لتنير على الارض

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.

لامام المغنين. مزمور لداود‎. ‎السموات تحدث بمجد الله. والفلك يخبر بعمل يديه‎.

And the Firmament has He raised high, and He has set up the Balance ( of Justice ),

« والسماء رفعها ووضع الميزان » أثبت العدل.

And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day.

ودعا الله الجلد سماء. وكان مساء وكان صباح يوما ثانيا

Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.

هللويا. سبحوا الله في قدسه. سبحوه في فلك قوته‎.

With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace.

« والسماء بنيناها بأيد » بقوة « وإنا لموسعون » قادرون يقال: أد الرجل يئيد قوي، وأوسع الرجل: صار ذا سعة وقوة.

And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.

وتكون انوارا في جلد السماء لتنير على الارض. وكان كذلك.

And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so.

فعمل الله الجلد وفصل بين المياه التي تحت الجلد والمياه التي فوق الجلد. وكان كذلك.
