UIF is currently holding talks with the Watson Institute of the United States of America, among other institutions, for the design of a course for public and private sector officials, focusing specifically on action to combat terrorism.

Anti terrorist intelligence activities fall under the competence of the Slovak Intelligence Service, the Military Intelligence Service and the Military Defence Intelligence.

The various services intelligence directorates namely the Directorate of Military Intelligence (DMI), the Directorate of Air Intelligence (DAI), Directorate of Naval Intelligence (DNI) and some other agencies are involved also but their activity is smaller by comparison.

The DIGO is responsible for geospatial intelligence and producing maps for the ADF, the ASD is Australia's signals intelligence agency and the DIO is responsible for the analysis of intelligence collected by the other intelligence agencies.

H. Role of financial intelligence units

Additional steps to regulate and develop the role of the Intelligence and Security Agency in Bosnia and Herzegovina's intelligence community have been taken by the Director General.

The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) is an independent business within The Economist Group providing forecasting and advisory services through research and analysis, such as monthly country reports, five year country economic forecasts, country risk service reports, and industry reports.

Similarly, the UIF has been provided with three Deputy Directorates for exercising its powers and functions Regulations and National and International Relations, Financial Analysis and Legal Proceedings, which, within their respective spheres of competence, are responsible for the preventive and regulatory systems relating to the financing of terrorism.

Since the formal establishment of the Intelligence and Security Agency on 1 June 2004, the physical and organizational unification of the two former entity intelligence services has proceeded according to the transitional provisions set out in the Law on the Intelligence and Security Agency.

Similarly, through the amendments to the rules of procedure of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit, the Ministry's powers were restructured and concentrated in a new agency called the Financial Intelligence Unit, which was granted powers to intervene in cases involving the financing of terrorism.
