In 2004, one follow up audit was conducted.

In 2005, the UNFPA Audit Services Branch carried out an audit of the data transfer from IMIS to Atlas.

Approximately one third of its equipment was held for emergency purposes. At UNMEE, the target was noticeably exceeded, and by a ratio of over 50 per cent for three vehicles.

The transition had taken some time, but an increase in the number of audits was now expected.

In other cases, cases of apparent misconduct may be found in the course of an internal audit.

So it is not just political pressure that an audit must avoid.

Accordingly, a General Service (Other level) post is requested, which will enable the team in the Office of the Ombudsman to process the workload in a timely manner.
