Does Egypt Need a Pharaoh?

Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

When all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread, and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, Go to Joseph. What he says to you, do.

The magicians of Egypt did the same thing with their enchantments and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he didn't listen to them as Yahweh had spoken.

Pharaoh's army had come forth out of Egypt and when the Chaldeans who were besieging Jerusalem heard news of them, they broke up from Jerusalem.

And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them as the LORD had said.

Then Pharoah's army was come forth out of Egypt and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.
