The world has changed.

Parties have reported that they are already experiencing stresses from climate related events and phenomena that could be exacerbated by future climate change, and that this makes them highly vulnerable.

The seventh meeting of the Least Developed Countries Expert Group was held in Bonn, Germany, from 4 to 7 April 2005.

Participants at the workshop exchanged views and experiences on a range of activities relating to these technologies including concepts needs for, and identification and evaluation of, technologies for adaptation and lessons learned.

The SBSTA may wish to endorse the proposed technical guidance and forward a draft decision for adoption by the Conference of the Parties at its eleventh session, recommending a decision for adoption by the COP MOP at its first session.

The Subsidiary Body for Implementation is invited to recommend, for adoption by the COP at its eleventh session, a draft decision proposing the continuation of the current arrangements and inviting the Secretary General of the United Nations to seek the endorsement of this continuation by the General Assembly until a review is deemed necessary by either the Parties or the General Assembly.

The numbering of decisions will be added in the final report of the COP MOP.
