2. This Treaty shall enter into force on the date of deposit of the twenty seventh instrument of ratification.

Slovenia is determined to ratify this Convention at the earliest possible date.

2. It shall enter into force on the date of deposit of the twenty eighth thirty fifth instrument of ratification.

3. For a signatory which ratifies this Treaty after the date of the deposit of the twenty seventh instrument of ratification, the Treaty shall enter into force on the date of deposit of its instrument of ratification.

We hope that the momentum in the ratification process will be maintained and extended so that the convention may enter into force at an early date.

3. For a signatory who ratifies this Treaty after the date of the deposit of the twenty eighth thirty fifth instrument of ratification, it shall enter into force for that signatory on the date of deposit of its instrument of ratification.

The treaty was written in 2008 and was to come into force 30 days after the date of receipt of the ninth instrument of ratification.

4. For States whose instruments of ratification or accession are deposited after the entry into force of the Convention, it shall enter into force on the date of the deposit of their instruments of ratification or accession.
