Biofuels. Liquid biofuels are renewable transport fuels made from plant materials.

Solid fuels include wood (see wood fuel), charcoal, peat, coal, Hexamine fuel tablets, and pellets made from wood (see wood pellets), corn, wheat, rye and other grains.

The project was completed in early 2004 and provided an analysis of the current international regulations on the security of maritime transport, and their effectiveness in preventing maritime terrorism. The results of this research project were published in May 2004.
