In early October 2003 a comprehensive report of the Task Force's findings, conclusions and recommendations was published by Transnational Publishers under the title International Terrorism Legal Challenges and Responses. The recommendations of the Task Force have been condensed into the IBA Task Force Principles on Suppressing Terrorism which serve as a set of standards to be observed when dealing with terrorism.

The present report contains the major findings, conclusions and recommendations of a two member international independent assessment mission to Myanmar conducted from 4 to 29 July 2005.
