With regard to information on transit movements of the chemicals, the existing and future international trade would be relevant in providing such information.

Consequently, the Chemical Review Committee is to review the information it receives under the above mentioned procedure.

The Conference agreed to encourage industry bodies, non governmental organizations and Parties to provide the information requested for the determination of ongoing trade in chemicals as contained in annex III to the report of the first meeting of the Chemical Review Committee (UNEP FAO RC COP.2 8, annex).

A Task Force comprising representatives of entities of the United Nations system and non governmental organizations, including regional networks, serves as the main conduit for information exchange and for channelling information, comments and suggestions to the Secretariat.
