The common reporting format (CRF) is an integral part of the national inventory submission.

A standardized format for internal progress reporting needs to be reintroduced and used as a tool for programme management and decision making.

The secretariat also reported on the status of the development and planned deployment of the new reporting software for the common reporting format, CRF Reporter (see also chapter IV below).

Poland is also looking forward to a substantial discussion on the format and scope of the reporting practice.

At the 1999 First Meeting of the States Parties, the States Parties adopted a reporting format to facilitate transparency reporting as required under Article 7 of the Convention.

Discussions with UNDP and UNICEF on their particular requirements, as well as a common reporting format, have been initiated.

Does the current reporting format provide for efficient information sharing, cross fertilization of experiences and comparison to build analysis upon for assessing the impact of policy and activities? If there is scope for improvement, how would that affect the Nnational Rreports and other inputs?
