FAO is helping to restore agricultural and fisheries production throughout the region with diverse interventions, including the repair of fishing boats, the distribution of tools, seeds and fertilizers and the rehabilitation of irrigation infrastructure.

In implementing the order, the Municipality presented an integral sewerage plan which directed US 1.75 million investment for the rehabilitation of the existing infrastructure and US 6 million in order to increase the facilities' capacity.
