All new Executive Directorate staff will continue to receive the necessary training in order to become familiar with the work and procedures of the Committee and the Executive Directorate and thereby enhance their productivity.

Among the report's findings are that, thus far, 181 licensing system and customs training and related projects have been approved by the Executive Committee.

The Co Chair stated that at their Fourteenth Meeting, the Parties had requested the Executive Committee to consider making an evaluation of customs officer training and licensing systems projects.

In compliance with this recommendation, the Director of the International Research and Training Institute for the Advancement of Women presented a fund raising strategy to the Executive Board in 2005.
