The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) is an agency of the United States Department of Labor.

The need to strengthen project management has been recognized by UNRWA for some time.

The services that UNOPS provides are (a) programme support and complex project management (b) loan administration and project supervision and (c) procurement of goods and services, including human resources administrative and advisory services.

UNHCR will review the management of project personnel and instructions on direct staff employment.

OHRM is conducting in 2005 a second competitive examination in the human rights occupational group.

Such coursework both prepares students for the rigours of managing enterprises, as well as helps facilitate a culture of entrepreneurship.

Nevertheless, project management must be strengthened at the United Nations Office at Geneva.

So for me, this project shows kind of how far we can go from some of those sort of small things that I was working on at the beginning of my career.

These projects provide professional skill training and employment services for rural women, improve women's quality of life and family welfare and promote the creation of professional groups in the community.

Substantial recognition is given to women, whose capacities are appreciated in the management of projects and the implementation of alternative ways of combating poverty.

A good example is the database of successful projects implemented by the National Planning Department of Colombia.

The lesson is clear even high class businesses are only as professional as the existing institutional infrastructure permits them to be.

To harness the potential of the younger generation, the national Youth Development Plan revolves around a three pronged strategy leadership training, acquisition of vocational and technical skills, and an entrepreneurship programme.

It therefore requires regularization of its budgetary and technical support, and the migration of responsibilities from the Department of Peacekeeping Operations to the Department of Management, where such projects belong.
