I'm proud of myself.

I'm proud of myself. Yes, I'm proud.

Don't worry about it, I'll go myself.

I'm too scared to go there by myself.

But I feel strong inside of me, just as many other time in my life so far, I am strong because I push myself to be a better man.

Some of you may accuse me of being a coward...but I don't think of myself as much as I think of my family.

Maybe it would be better to ban electricity?

I start it myself.

I made it myself.

I'll personally visit you.

I'll do it myself.

I can do it by myself.

I did it myself.

I can do it all myself.

I'll find my car on my own.

I'll clean up that myself.

I experienced it myself.

Why do I have to do this by myself?

I can do everything myself.

Instead of going myself, I sent a letter.

Instead of going myself, I sent a gift.

Next time, I'll do it myself.

Today, I'll make some salad for myself on my own.

I can't do everything on my own.

So I decided to make a pair myself.

But I'll watch myself. It's okay.

You know what? Forget it! I'll just do it myself.

I am blameless. I don't respect myself. I despise my life.

Though I were perfect, yet would I not know my soul I would despise my life.

In 1979, I witnessed my first military coup.

I see first hand what is happening in this region.

When I was 14 years old, I had low self esteem.

I run a wonderful team of volunteer translators, and do translations myself.

And after begging and pleading for Christmas, I got a second hand video camera, and I instantly started making my own animations on my own, and all throughout high school I made my own animations.

So half a year ago, I decided to go to Pakistan myself.

Indeed, I do not deny, unlike many feminists, that the reverse also exists.

I enjoyed myself as a tourist but felt that I had to get down to business.

Now I wanted to get a sense of life, not statistics.

I just instead said, I'm going to make something out of it, and maybe next year ... And I appreciate this moment to come up on this stage with so many people who've already given me so much solace, and just say to TEDsters I'm proud of me. That I take something bad, I turn it, and I'm going to make something good out of this, all these pieces.

A set of people actually say, Oh, let me just grant it to them, and run away from it.

I'm an immigrant. We make a space. What I tell you? Right there.

But when I stepped back, I felt myself at the cold, hard center of a perfect storm.

I experienced firsthand the need for a new approach in 2004 in Sri Lanka.

You know, run up into the end of the rainbow, I don't know what you do with it. So, I came up with my own.
