3-2 مسؤولية الوالدين:

3.2 Parental responsibility

والدستور يقول أيضا إن تربية الأطفال من مسؤوليات الوالدين، مما يجعل من التربية بالتالي مسؤولية مشتركة.

The Constitution also provides that the education of children is the responsibility of parents, thus making education a joint responsibility.

(أ) مبدأ المسؤولية المشتركة يحمل الوالدين مسؤولية تنشئة أطفالهما ويحمل الدولة مسؤولية مساعدتهما على أداء واجبهما.

(a) The principle of joint responsibility means that parents must raise their children and the State must help them to perform that duty.

(ب) أن تعدّل التشريعات القائمة أو تعتمد تشريعات تنصّ على مسؤولية الوالدين المشتركة والمتساوية في أداء التزاماتهما نحو أولادهما؛

(b) Amend or adopt legislation so that both parents have equal responsibilities in the fulfilment of their obligations towards their children;
