ويُعلن أدنى سعر مقدّم بأنه السعر الابتدائي للمناقصة العلنية.

وتكون لمقدمي العروض أنفسهم معلومات كافية لكي يعرفوا أدنى سعر فحسب وأن يعرفوا إن كان هو سعرهم أم لا.
