laborer بالعربية

Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor shoes, nor staff: for the laborer is worthy of his food.

ولا مزودا للطريق ولا ثوبين ولا احذية ولا عصا. لان الفاعل مستحق طعامه

For the Scripture says, "You shall not muzzle the ox when it treads out the grain." And, "The laborer is worthy of his wages."

لان الكتاب يقول لا تكمّ ثورا دارسا. والفاعل مستحق اجرته

One of his most famous works featured an old laborer walking in front of a logo of a transnational company (see the photo above).

أحد لوحاته صورت عاملًا مسنًا يمشي أمام شعار إحدى الشركات المتعددة الجنسيات (الصورة أعلاه).

Remain in that same house, eating and drinking the things they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Don't go from house to house.

واقيموا في ذلك البيت آكلين وشاربين مما عندهم. لان الفاعل مستحق اجرته. لا تنتقلوا من بيت الى بيت.

A little background: when my grade five was learning about child rights, they were made to roll incense sticks, agarbattis, for eight hours to experience what it means to be a child laborer.

خلفية بسيطة: عندما كان طلابي في الصف الخامس يتعلمون عن حقوق الطفل, كانوا يلفّون أعواد البخور, لمدة ثمان ساعات ليجربوا ما معنى ان تكون طفلاً عاملاً.
