Don't judge by appearances.
لا تحكم بظواهر الأمور.
His delight will be in the fear of Yahweh. He will not judge by the sight of his eyes, neither decide by the hearing of his ears;
ولذته تكون في مخافة الرب فلا يقضي بحسب نظر عينه ولا يحكم بحسب سمع اذنيه.
Let the followers of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein, and those who do not judge by what Allah has revealed are the transgressors.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
Let the People of the Gospel judge by that which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed: such are evil-livers.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
Allah judges with justice, while those whom they invoke besides Him do not judge by anything. Indeed it is Allah who is the All-hearing, the All-seeing.
« والله يقضي بالحق والذين يدعون » يعبدون، أي كفار مكة بالياء والتاء « من دونه » وهم الأصنام « لا يقضون بشيءٍ » فكيف يكونون شركاء لله « إن الله هو السميع » لأقوالهم « البصير » بأفعالهم.
Therefore, let those who follow the Gospel judge according to what God has revealed in it. Those who do not judge by what God has sent down are rebellious.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
Let the people of the Evangel judge by what Allah has sent down in it. Those who do not judge by what Allah has sent down — it is they who are the transgressors.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
Let the people of the Gospel judge by what has been revealed in it by God. And those who do not judge in accordance with what God has revealed are transgressors.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
The followers of the Gospels ( the New Testament ) must judge according to what God has revealed in it. Those who do not judge by the laws of God are evil doers.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
And the followers of the Injeel should have judged by what Allah revealed in it; and whoever did not judge by what Allah revealed, those are they that are the transgressors.
« و » قلنا « لْيَحْكُمْ أهل الإنجيل بما أنزل الله فيه » من الأحكام وفي قراءة بنصب يحكم وكسر لامه عطفا على معمول آتيناه « ومن لم يحكم بما أنزل الله فأولئك هم الفاسقون ».
And let the People of the Gospel judge by what Allah has revealed therein. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed - then it is those who are the defiantly disobedient.

Let the people of the Gospel judge by what Allah hath revealed therein. If any do fail to judge by ( the light of ) what Allah hath revealed, they are ( no better than ) those who rebel.
