The need to strengthen project management has been recognized by UNRWA for some time.

Substantial recognition is given to women, whose capacities are appreciated in the management of projects and the implementation of alternative ways of combating poverty.

A good example is the database of successful projects implemented by the National Planning Department of Colombia.
