For member states, the euro zone is simply too important to fail.

I call on the United Nations and its Member States to heed the plight of the poor banana farmers and workers in the Caribbean.

Likewise, the eurozone needs a mechanism to confront runs on its member countries government debt.

The Stability and Growth Pact, which limits euro zone members fiscal deficits, is another reason why a country might want to leave the EMU.

Moreover, eurozone governance did not include monitoring and surveillance of competitiveness indicators trends in nominal prices and costs in member states, and countries external imbalances within the eurozone.

Refusing to pay is not a viable option, because Germany and all other eurozone members are in the same boat.

But, if the eurozone does survive, it promises great advantages for member countries and perhaps for the world.

If the euro is to survive, eurozone members must act, while other EU members with various levels of commitment to European integration remain on the fringe.

Indeed, the single most important question for the future of the eurozone is whether the gap between prospering and struggling members is being closed.

ASEAN investment cooperation and the Greater Mekong Subregion arrangement have also encouraged Thai OFDI to member States.

The body tasked with coordinating the efforts of the CBSS member countries3 in fighting organised crime is the Task Force on Organised Crime in the Baltic Sea Region4.

Compared to the beginning of 2009, we are now dealing with a significantly different EU one that has become divided between a vanguard of member states that form the eurozone and a rearguard, consisting of member states that remain outside it.
