A guidance note for inputs from non governmental organizations has been widely disseminated.

On 26 September, the Committee adopted guidelines for hiring experts, which have been distributed through a Chairman's note to Member States for their information.

The Policy Package is composed of a guidance note that outlines the roles and responsibilities of different headquarters and field based actors in responding to internal displacement and includes a procedural road map on the process of implementing the response.

Whether we call them strategies or guidelines or strategies and guidelines, they are recommendations.
