Application of research in practice

Applied research is a form of systematic inquiry involving the practical application of science.

The Research and Analysis Section started to streamline its data management mechanisms through introduction of business intelligence and data warehousing methodologies.

Applied research conduct research on existing gender responsive policies to assess the implementation gaps promote the application of lessons learned and the replication of best practices, and feed back into local, regional and global policies.
