And being a pastor, I started reading the Bible.

You should swear on the Bible.

Three possibilities are open (a) the evangelist intended to close his Gospel at this place or (b) the Gospel was never finished or, as seems most probable, (c) the Gospel accidentally lost its last leaf before it was multiplied by transcription.

I am a servant of God , he answered . He has given me a Book and made me a prophet ,

The child proclaimed , I am Allah s bondman He has given me the Book and made me a Herald of the Hidden ( a Prophet ) .

He said , ' Lo , I am God 's servant God has given me the Book , and made me a Prophet .

The child cried out Verily I am Allah 's servant . He has granted me the Book and has made me a Prophet

I am the slave of Allah . He hath given me the Scripture and hath appointed me a Prophet ,

He said , Indeed I am a servant of Allah ! He has given me the Book and made me a prophet .

He ( the baby ) said ' I am the worshiper of Allah . Allah has given me the Book and made me a Prophet .

Jesus said , Indeed , I am the servant of Allah . He has given me the Scripture and made me a prophet .

He said , I am the servant of God . He has given me the Book and has appointed me to be a Prophet .

He said Surely I am a servant of Allah He has given me the Book and made me a prophet

But he said , I am God 's servant . He has given me the Book and made me a prophet

He said I am indeed a servant of Allah He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet

So, it's about choosing the parts of the Bible about compassion, about tolerance, about loving your neighbor, as opposed to the parts about homosexuality is a sin, or intolerance, or violence, which are very much in the Bible as well.

Should we view it, you know, as original intent, like a sort of a Scalia version of the Bible?

And this one I learned because I tried to follow everything in the Bible.

Subsequently, the Gospel is introduced, where the faith in a leader and follow him is put forward as an ideal.

In the British American colonies, John Eliot of Massachusetts translated the Bible into the Massachusett language, also called Wampanoag, or Natick (1661 1663 he published the first Bible printed in North America).

You have to pick and choose. And anyone who follows the Bible is going to be picking and choosing.

But others are biblical fundamentalists, who reject modern science because they take the word of the Bible as literally true.

O Lord , we believe in Your revelations and follow this Apostle . Enroll us among the witnesses .

Our Lord ! We have believed in what You have sent down and we follow the Noble Messenger , therefore record us among the witnesses of the truth .

Lord , we believe in that Thou hast sent down , and we follow the Messenger . Inscribe us therefore with those who bear witness . '

Our Lord ! We believe in what You have sent down , and we follow the Messenger ' Iesa ( Jesus ) so write us down among those who bear witness ( to the truth i.e. La ilaha ill Allah none has the right to be worshipped but Allah ) .

Our Lord , we have believed in what You have revealed , and we have followed the Messenger , so count us among the witnesses .

Our Lord ! We believe in the com mandment You have revealed and we obey the Messenger make us , then , one of those who bear witness ( to the Truth ) . '

We believe in that which Thou hast revealed and we follow him whom Thou hast sent . Enrol us among those who witness ( to the truth ) .

Our Lord , we believe in what You have sent down , and we follow the apostle , so write us among the witnesses .

Lord , we have believed in what You sent down and followed the Messenger . Write us among Your witnesses '

Our Lord , we have believed in what You revealed and have followed the messenger Jesus , so register us among the witnesses to truth .

They prayed , Lord , we have believed in what You have revealed to Your Messenger and we have followed him . Write down our names with those who testify in support of the Truth .
