There was a need to continue to improve technical assistance by incorporating South South cooperation in the United Nations system's programmes and in country level activities. Such cooperation could also be broadened and intensified by enhancing regional and subregional cooperation.

A team of professional volunteers conducts activities to improve the quality of life of those people as a whole, combining ethics and spirituality with material values, aiming at the true exercise of citizenship.
