(i) Multi partite law making treaties

The issue of law making treaties was discussed by the International Law Commission in drafting the Vienna Convention on Succession of States in Respect of Treaties.

The Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties provides the following rules on the interpretation of treaties, both bilateral and multilateral

Second, the Harvard Research on the Law of Treaties of 1935 included a significant analysis of the effect of armed conflict on treaties as part of its more general work on treaties.
