Kismet was ready to start interacting with people.

Kismet is a city in Seward County, Kansas, United States.

So, once you've got that and here's a robot, here's Kismet,

And so that year, I started to build this robot, Kismet, the world's first social robot.

Kismet has an underlying, three dimensional emotional space, a vector space, of where it is emotionally.

So, once you've got that and here's a robot, here's Kismet, looking around for a toy. You can tell what it's looking at.

Three years later a lot of programming, working with other graduate students in the lab Kismet was ready to start interacting with people.
