If you, Yah, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?	ان كنت تراقب الآثام يا رب يا سيد فمن يقف .
And had We not kept you steadfast , possibly you might have inclined to them just a little .	ولولا أن ثبتناك على الحق بالعصمة لقد كدت قاربت تركن تميل إليهم شيئا ركونا قليلا لشدة احتيالهم وإلحاحهم ، وهو صريح في أنه صلى الله عليه وسلم لم يركن ولا قارب .
And had We not kept you steadfast , possibly you might have inclined to them just a little .	ولولا أن ثب تناك على الحق ، وعصمناك عن موافقتهم ، ل قارب ت أن تميل إليهم ميلا قليلا من كثرة المعالجة ورغبتك في هدايتهم .

He said , O Satan , what kept you from being among those who prostrated themselves ?	قال تعالى يا إبليس مالك ما منعك أ ن لا زائدة تكون مع الساجدين .
He said , O Iblis ! What kept you from being among those who have prostrated ?	قال تعالى يا إبليس مالك ما منعك أ ن لا زائدة تكون مع الساجدين .
He said , O Satan , what kept you from being among those who prostrated themselves ?	قال الله لإبليس ما لك ألا تسجد مع الملائكة
He said , O Iblis ! What kept you from being among those who have prostrated ?	قال الله لإبليس ما لك ألا تسجد مع الملائكة
