The present consolidated text consists of the provisions found in the Model Law on Procurement of Goods and Construction and provisions on procurement of services.

The text of the 1994 Model Law is restated below so as to aid the Working Group in its deliberations (in normal font), and proposed additional text is underlined in each case. This format will be followed throughout this Note where additions to the existing articles of the Model Law are proposed.

The same Law regulates also activities connected with production, trade of explosive substances and devices used for explosions, as well as those for explosion works (The English text of the Law on Licensing is annexed).

Kenya therefore supported the text of article III of the Chairman's revised text.
