The Working Group decided that it would be appropriate to consider the text of the Guide to Enactment and any draft regulations once the draft text of the Model Law, as revised, had been considered.

The Working Group requested the Secretariat to revise the text for the Model Law and to make consequential changes to the proposed text of the Guide to Enactment, taking into account the above matters.

Currently a new Working Group is being formed which will work on the text of the Law on Prohibition of Family Violence.

In the light of the above, paragraph 3 of the current text of the Guide to Enactment addressing article 30 of the Model Law could therefore be amended to provide as follows, with a new paragraph 3 bis (with text to be removed struck through, and proposed additional new text underlined)

However, the view was expressed that adding text of this sort to the provision could generate unnecessary case law to interpret it, and that the concept of security was already implicit in the text of the draft article.
