Most of the projects I work on I live in calibration with scientists.

The workshop facilitated the calibration of Dobson spectrometers from seven countries in Africa (Algeria, Botswana, Egypt, Kenya, Nigeria, Seychelles and South Africa).

The first expenditure from the fund was a 15,000 cash advance made to WMO to meet key needs identified by the Ozone Research Managers at their fifth meeting, in particular the need for assistance in the calibration of monitoring equipment to ensure accurate and timely monitoring.

In that regard, a highly successful workshop on the calibration of monitoring equipment was carried out in Egypt from 23 February to 12 March 2004.

Procedures Procedural information may include not only safety procedures but also procedures for avoiding contamination, calibration of equipment, equipment testing, documentation, and all other relevant issues.

This will require the establishment, strengthening and international recognition of services for calibration and metrology, product testing, product and enterprise certification, laboratory accreditation, and mutual recognition between accreditation bodies.

National reports on existing and planned activities relating to ozone research and the monitoring, calibration and archiving of measurements and UV B monitoring and initiatives aimed at the prevention of UV B and sun related injuries.

Further, to enable precision manufacture and to comply with stringent quality requirements, developing countries and economies in transition require well developed metrology infrastructure, having calibration facilities that can establish measurement and traceability chains to the international SI units.

One important area of intervention is to assist developing countries in upgrading the capacity and to be in a position to reach international recognition of local certificates and laboratory analysis, calibration and tests through their insertion in mutual recognition agreements with both industrialized and developing countries.

But basically, the reason why I make toys like this is because I think if there's one difference I could possibly make in the world, that I would choose to make, it's that I would like to somehow give people just a little bit better calibration on long term thinking.

So one meeting tends to lead to another meeting and tends to lead to another meeting.

At its closing meeting, the Expert Meeting authorized the Rapporteur to prepare the final report of the Meeting.
