There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way whoever hates reproof shall die.

Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way and he that hateth reproof shall die.

The rebels are deep in slaughter but I discipline all of them.

And the revolters are profound to make slaughter, though I have been a rebuker of them all.

Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects. Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty.

My son, listen to your father's instruction, and don't forsake your mother's teaching

My son, don't despise Yahweh's discipline, neither be weary of his reproof

Listen, sons, to a father's instruction. Pay attention and know understanding

A wise son listens to his father's instruction, but a scoffer doesn't listen to rebuke.

Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty

My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother

My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD neither be weary of his correction

Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.

A wise son heareth his father's instruction but a scorner heareth not rebuke.

But if you are without discipline, of which all have been made partakers, then are you illegitimate, and not children.

But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

and you have forgotten the exhortation which reasons with you as with children, My son, don't take lightly the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him

And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him
