واما المعزي الروح القدس الذي سيرسله الآب باسمي فهو يعل مكم كل شيء ويذكركم بكل ما قلته لكم
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
ومتى جاء المعزي الذي سأرسله انا اليكم من الآب روح الحق الذي من عند الآب ينبثق فهو يشهد لي.
When the Counselor has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will testify about me.

But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me
لكني اقول لكم الحق انه خير لكم ان انطلق. لانه ان لم انطلق لا يأتيكم المعزي. ولكن ان ذهبت ارسله اليكم.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth It is to your advantage that I go away, for if I don't go away, the Counselor won't come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
لكني اقول لكم الحق انه خير لكم ان انطلق. لانه ان لم انطلق لا يأتيكم المعزي. ولكن ان ذهبت ارسله اليكم.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth It is expedient for you that I go away for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
(وهي نفس الإجابة التي وردت في س ـفر أيوب ولكن بأسلوب شعري).

على هذه انا باكية. عيني عيني تسكب مياها لانه قد ابتعد عني المعزي راد نفسي. صار بني هالكين لانه قد تجبر العدو
For these things I weep mine eye, mine eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.

Remember also Our servant Job when he called to his Lord , ' Behold , Satan has visited me with weariness and chastisement . '
واذكر أيها الرسول عبدنا أيوب ، حين دعا ربه أن الشيطان تسبب لي بتعب ومشقة ، وألم في جسدي ومالي وأهلي .
And remember thou Our bondman Ayyub , what time he cried Unto his Lord verily the Satan hath touched me with affliction and suffering .

And remember Our slave Ayub ( Job ) , when he invoked his Lord ( saying ) Verily ! Shaitan ( Satan ) has touched me with distress ( by losing my health ) and torment ( by losing my wealth ) !

And mention Our servant Job , when he called out to his Lord , Satan has afflicted me with hardship and pain .
