Project management, inter agency harmonization, and others

The need to strengthen project management has been recognized by UNRWA for some time.

The services that UNOPS provides are (a) programme support and complex project management (b) loan administration and project supervision and (c) procurement of goods and services, including human resources administrative and advisory services.

UNHCR will review the management of project personnel and instructions on direct staff employment.

The management of the Office closely reflects the progress made in the implementation of the completion strategy.

Such coursework both prepares students for the rigours of managing enterprises, as well as helps facilitate a culture of entrepreneurship.

These projects will increasingly offer an appropriate mix of tools and services duly integrated into the project strategy.

In the context of the review, the Office will ensure that the recommendations for the adoption of a three year strategic plan that addresses the risk management strategy are considered.

A training strategy had not been implemented, and website management should be improved.

Quick impact projects form part of a strategy aimed at improving the relationship between peacekeepers and civilians.
