Remember, now, whoever perished, being innocent? Or where were the upright cut off?

These are a few accounts of settlements that We narrate to you . Some still survive , and some have been mowed down .

These are the tidings of the townships , which We relate to you ( O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him ) some of them still stand and some are cut off .

That is of the tidings of the cities We relate to thee some of them are standing and some stubble .

That is from the stories of the Cities which We recount unto thee of them some are standing and some mown down .

These are some of the news of the ( population of ) towns which We relate unto you ( O Muhammad SAW ) of them , some are standing , and some have been ( already ) reaped .

These are of the reports of the towns We relate them to you . Some are still standing , and some have withered away .

That is an account of some towns which We recount to you . Of them some are still standing and some have been mown down .

That is ( something ) of the tidings of the townships ( which were destroyed of old ) . We relate it unto thee ( Muhammad ) .

These are from the accounts of the townships , which We recount to you . Of them , there are some that still stand , and some that have been mown down .

That , which We have related to you , is the news of the villages some of them still stand , whereas others are stubble .

That is from the news of the cities , which We relate to you of them , some are still standing and some are as a harvest mowed down .

Such were the stories of the nations of the past which We tell to you , ( Muhammad ) . Some of them were destroyed and some of them have survived .

This is an account of ( the fate of ) the towns which We relate to you of them are some that stand and ( others ) mown down .

We relate to you such accounts of earlier towns some of them are still standing while others have ceased to exist

These are some of the stories of communities which We relate unto thee of them some are standing , and some have been mown down ( by the sickle of time ) .

Let the day perish in which I was born, the night which said, 'There is a boy conceived.'

And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter .

And indeed , We know the first generations of you who had passed away , and indeed , We know the present generations of you ( mankind ) , and also those who will come afterwards .

And We know those of you who go forward , and We know those who lag behind .

Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later .

And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards .

Certainly We know the predecessors among you and certainly We know the successors ,

We know those of you who press forward , and We know the laggards ,

And We have already known the preceding generations among you , and We have already known the later ones to come .

We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you .

And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later .

We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you .

To Us are known those of you who hasten forward , and those who lag behind .

After this man, Judas of Galilee rose up in the days of the enrollment, and drew away some people after him. He also perished, and all, as many as obeyed him, were scattered abroad.
