The European Union as a whole supports the idea of a legally binding instrument that also includes small arms and light weapons ammunition.

In the past few weeks, in Foya (Lofa County), where UNMIL forces have just been deployed, UNMIL collected ammunition (700 rounds of small arms ammunition) recovered by civilians who were preparing land for building.
