Nuclear safety and security covers the actions taken to prevent nuclear and radiation accidents or to limit their consequences.

And do you realize that almost all of those are due to human error and not machine error, and can therefore be prevented by machines?

Concerned that prompt and effective response measures should be taken to minimize the harm and loss which may result from such incidents,

Accidents do happen.

These precedents can be extended.

The lessons learned may help not only to reduce the risk of future accidents, but also to facilitate recovery in areas around the world that have been contaminated by radioactive or other toxic substances.
