And then cellular respiration occurs.

So cellular respiration, for every mole of a glucose,

So we see in cellular respiration that the carbon is oxidized.

But this is all cellular respiration is.

And that is that, there is actually some cellular respiration happening on the plant side.

So glycolysis, or really cellular respiration, it starts off with glucose.

And then our cells perform cellular respiration in a whole series of steps.

Through cellular respiration, we're going to produce six moles of carbon dioxide.

But the first step of cellular respiration is glycolysis breaking up of glucose.

And the whole reason why I'm doing this is to apply this to cellular respiration.

We've already learned that cellular respiration can be broken down into roughly three phases.

So really, cellular respiration, to say it produces energy, a little disingenuous.

In my humble opinion, the single most important biochemical reaction, especially to us, is cellular respiration.
