And We did not ordain abiding for any mortal before you . What !	وما جعلنا لبشر من قبلك أيها الرسول دوام البقاء في الدنيا ، أفإن مت فهم ي ؤم لون الخلود بعدك لا يكون هذا . وفي هذه الآية دليل على أن الخضر عليه السلام قد مات لأنه بشر .
Yahweh, you will ordain peace for us, for you have also worked all our works for us.	يا رب تجعل لنا سلاما لانك كل اعمالنا صنعتها لنا.
LORD, thou wilt ordain peace for us for thou also hast wrought all our works in us.	يا رب تجعل لنا سلاما لانك كل اعمالنا صنعتها لنا.
That is the Straight Path . ( Allah 's Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets ) .	( وأن الله ربي وربكم فاعبدوه ) بفتح أن بتقدير اذكر ، وبكسرها بتقدير قل بدليل ما قلت لهم إلا ما أمرتني به أن اعبدوا الله ربي وربكم ( هذا ) المذكور ( صراط ) طريق ( مستقيم ) مؤد إلى الجنة .
That is the Straight Path . ( Allah 's Religion of Islamic Monotheism which He did ordain for all of His Prophets ) .	وقال عيسى لقومه وإن الله الذي أدعوكم إليه هو وحده ربي وربكم فاعبدوه وحده لا شريك له ، فأنا وأنتم سواء في العبودية والخضوع له ، هذا هو الطريق الذي لا اعوجاج فيه .
Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment , that yours shall be all that ye ordain ?	أم لكم أ يمان عهود علينا بالغة واثقة إلى يوم القيامة متعلق معنى بعلينا ، وفي هذا الكلام معنى القسم ، أي أقسمنا لكم وجوابه إن لكم لما تحكمون به لأنفسكم .
Or have ye a covenant on oath from Us that reacheth to the Day of Judgment , that yours shall be all that ye ordain ?	أم لكم عهود ومواثيق علينا في أنه سيحصل لكم ما تريدون وتشتهون
Did I not ordain for you , O Children of Adam , that you should not worship Shaitan ( Satan ) . Verily , he is a plain enemy to you .	ألم أعهد إليكم آمركم يابني آدم على لسان رسلي أن لا تعبدوا الشيطان لا تطيعوه إنه لكم عدو مبين بي ن العداوة .
Did I not ordain for you , O Children of Adam , that you should not worship Shaitan ( Satan ) . Verily , he is a plain enemy to you .	ويقول الله لهم توبيخ ا وتذكير ا ألم أوصكم على ألسنة رسلي أن لا تعبدوا الشيطان ولا تطيعوه إنه لكم عدو ظاهر العداوة .
But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.	غير انه كما قسم الله لكل واحد كما دعا الرب كل واحد هكذا ليسلك وهكذا انا آمر في جميع الكنائس.
It may be that Allah will ordain love between you and those of them with whom ye are at enmity . Allah is Mighty , and Allah is Forgiving , Merciful .	عسى الله أن يجعل بينكم وبين الذين عاديتم منهم من كفار مكة طاعة لله تعالى مودة بأن يهديهم للإيمان فيصيروا لكم أولياء والله قدير على ذلك وقد فعله بعد فتح مكة والله غفور لهم ما سلف رحيم بهم .
It may be that Allah will ordain love between you and those of them with whom ye are at enmity . Allah is Mighty , and Allah is Forgiving , Merciful .	عسى الله أن يجعل بينكم أيها المؤمنون وبين الذين عاديتموهم من أقاربكم من المشركين محبة بعد البغضاء ، وألفة بعد الشحناء بانشراح صدورهم للإسلام ، والله قدير على كل شيء ، والله غفور لعباده ، رحيم بهم .
And ordain for us good in this world 's life and in the hereafter , for surely we turn to Thee . He said ( As for ) My chastisement , I will afflict with it whom I please , and My mercy encompasses all things so I will ordain it ( specially ) for those who guard ( against evil ) and pay the poor rate , and those who believe in Our communications .	واكتب وأجب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة إن ا ه د نا تبنا إليك قال تعالى عذابي أصيب به من أشاء تعذيبه ورحمتي وسعت عم ت كل شيء في الدنيا فسأكتبها في الآخرة للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتتا يؤمنون .
For this cause left I thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and ordain elders in every city, as I had appointed thee	من اجل هذا تركتك في كريت لكي تكمل ترتيب الامور الناقصة وتقيم في كل مدينة شيوخا كما اوصيتك.
Or have We sworn a covenant with you which We are bound to keep till the Day of Resurrection , ( a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours ) ?	أم لكم أ يمان عهود علينا بالغة واثقة إلى يوم القيامة متعلق معنى بعلينا ، وفي هذا الكلام معنى القسم ، أي أقسمنا لكم وجوابه إن لكم لما تحكمون به لأنفسكم .
Or have We sworn a covenant with you which We are bound to keep till the Day of Resurrection , ( a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours ) ?	أم لكم عهود ومواثيق علينا في أنه سيحصل لكم ما تريدون وتشتهون
All these which were chosen to be porters in the gates were two hundred and twelve. These were reckoned by their genealogy in their villages, whom David and Samuel the seer did ordain in their set office.	جميع هؤلاء المنتخبين بوابين للابواب مئتان واثنا عشر وقد انتسبوا حسب قراهم. اقامهم داود وصموئيل الرائي على وظائفهم.

Allah said as to My chastisement , therewith afflict whomsoever I Will and as to My mercy , it comprehendeth everything . Wherefore I shall ordain it for those who fear an give poor rate and those who believe in Our signs .	واكتب وأجب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة إن ا ه د نا تبنا إليك قال تعالى عذابي أصيب به من أشاء تعذيبه ورحمتي وسعت عم ت كل شيء في الدنيا فسأكتبها في الآخرة للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتتا يؤمنون .
And when they commit any shameful act they say , We found our forefathers on it and Allah has commanded it to us say , Indeed Allah does not ordain shamelessness what ! You attribute things to Allah , which you do not know ?	وإذا فعلوا فاحشة كالشرك وطوافهم بالبيت عراة قائلين لا نطوف في ثياب عصينا الله فيها فنهوا عنها قالوا وجدنا عليها آباءنا فاقتدينا بهم والله أمرنا بها أيضا قل لهم إن الله لا يأمر بالفحشاء أتقولون على الله ما لا تعلمون أنه قاله ، استفهام إنكار .
And when they commit any shameful act they say , We found our forefathers on it and Allah has commanded it to us say , Indeed Allah does not ordain shamelessness what ! You attribute things to Allah , which you do not know ?	وإذا أتى الكفار قبيح ا من الفعل اعتذروا عن فعله بأنه مما ورثوه عن آبائهم ، وأنه مما أمر الله به . قل لهم أيها الرسول إن الله تعالى لا يأمر عباده بقبائح الأفعال ومساوئها ، أتقولون على الله أيها المشركون ما لا تعلمون كذب ا وافتراء
Also I will ordain a place for my people Israel, and will plant them, and they shall dwell in their place, and shall be moved no more neither shall the children of wickedness waste them any more, as at the beginning,	وعي نت مكانا لشعبي اسرائيل وغرسته فسكن في مكانه ولا يضطرب بعد ولا يعود بنو الاثم يبلونه كما في الاول
We have turned unto Thee . He said I smite with My punishment whom I will , and My mercy embraceth all things , therefore I shall ordain it for those who ward off ( evil ) and pay the poor due , and those who believe Our revelations	واكتب وأجب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة إن ا ه د نا تبنا إليك قال تعالى عذابي أصيب به من أشاء تعذيبه ورحمتي وسعت عم ت كل شيء في الدنيا فسأكتبها في الآخرة للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتتا يؤمنون .
If any of your women are guilty of lewdness , Take the evidence of four ( Reliable ) witnesses from amongst you against them and if they testify , confine them to houses until death do claim them , or Allah ordain for them some ( other ) way .	واللاتي يزنين من نسائكم ، فاستشهدوا أيها الولاة والقضاة عليهن أربعة رجال عدول من المسلمين ، فإن شهدوا عليهن بذلك فاحبسوهن في البيوت حتى تنتهي حياتهن بالموت ، أو يجعل الله لهن طريق ا للخلاص من ذلك .
He said ( As to ) My Punishment I afflict therewith whom I will and My Mercy embraces all things . That ( Mercy ) I shall ordain for those who are the Muttaqun ( pious see V. 2 2 ) , and give Zakat and those who believe in Our Ayat ( proofs , evidences , verses , lessons , signs and revelations , etc . )	واكتب وأجب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة إن ا ه د نا تبنا إليك قال تعالى عذابي أصيب به من أشاء تعذيبه ورحمتي وسعت عم ت كل شيء في الدنيا فسأكتبها في الآخرة للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتتا يؤمنون .
And ordain for us what is good in this world and in the World to Come for to You have we turned . ' He replied ' I afflict whomsoever I wish with My chastisement . As for My mercy , it encompasses everything. will show mercy to those who abstain from evil , pay Zakat and have faith in Our signs . '	واكتب وأجب لنا في هذه الدنيا حسنة وفي الآخرة حسنة إن ا ه د نا تبنا إليك قال تعالى عذابي أصيب به من أشاء تعذيبه ورحمتي وسعت عم ت كل شيء في الدنيا فسأكتبها في الآخرة للذين يتقون ويؤتون الزكاة والذين هم بآياتتا يؤمنون .
