I am not an assimilationist!

Enough of that assimilationist junk.

France has simply failed to incorporate minority citizens many of them third generation immigrants who have been educated for twenty years in assimilationist public schools.

Even young indigenous teachers who are trained in such traditional institutions quickly learn to devalue their own culture and adopt the official assimilationist pedagogical model.

The main obstacle to full enjoyment of the right to education has been assimilationist models of education and education systems' ignorance of or failure to appreciate indigenous languages and cultures.

Next are some examples of the ways in which education causes more obvious forms of harm to children and effectively transfers them from their own group to the dominant group through the assimilationist practices in subtractive education.
