Mr. Pintat Santolària (Andorra) Before I begin, I would like to express, on behalf of the people of the Principality of Andorra, our sympathy for and solidarity with those who have suffered following the recent hurricane on the American Gulf Coast.

Subsequently, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Central African Republic, the Dominican Republic, Gabon, Kyrgyzstan, the Marshall Islands, Nauru, the Niger, Papua New Guinea, Saint Lucia, Samoa and Solomon Islands joined in sponsoring the draft resolution.

Ms. Thygesen (Denmark) introduced draft resolution A C.3 58 L.42 on behalf of the sponsors listed and South Africa, Andorra, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Eritrea, Lithuania, Mali, Malta, Monaco and Ukraine.

The lack of current or accurate information from Cuba, North Korea, Somalia, Andorra, San Marino, Monaco, Liechtenstein, Federated States of Micronesia, Palau, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Puerto Rico (a commonwealth of the United States), and Macau, SAR precludes their inclusion.

At the request of my Government, I have the honour to transmit to you the addendum to the fourth report that was submitted by the Principality of Andorra to the Counter Terrorism Committee on 11 February 2005 (see enclosure).

Andorra supports action and measures taken by the United Nations in connection with the trade in weapons of all kinds and places on record its complete agreement with nuclear disarmament and non proliferation in order to preserve international peace and security.
