And his Lord pardoned him ( accepted his repentance ) . Then Adam received from his Lord some words , and He accepted his repentance . Indeed , it is He who is the Accepting of repentance , the Merciful .	فتلقى آدم من رب ه كلمات ألهمه إياها وفي قراءة بنصب آدم ورفع كلمات ، أي جاءه وهى ( رب نا ظلمنا أنفسا ) الآية فدعا بها فتاب عليه قبل توبته إنه هو التواب على عباده الرحيم بهم .
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.	لان هبات الله ودعوته هي بلا ندامة.

Except those who repent and do reform and disclose ( the truth ) so I will accept their repentance and I only am the Most Acceptor of Repentance , the Most Merciful .	إلا الذين تابوا رجعوا عن ذلك وأصلحوا عملهم وبي نوا ما كتموا فأولئك أتوب عليهم أقبل توبتهم وأنا التواب الرحيم بالمؤمنين .
Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident what they concealed . Then Adam learnt from his Lord certain words ( of revelation ) , therefore Allah accepted his repentance indeed He only is the Most Acceptor of Repentance , the Most Merciful . He accepts repentance .	فسبح بحمد ربك أي متلبسا بحمده واستغفره إنه كان توابا وكان صلى الله عليه وسلم بعد نزول هذه السورة يكثر من قول سبحان الله وبحمده ، أستغفر الله وأتوب إليه ، وعلم بها أنه قد أقترب أجله وكان فتح مكة في رمضان سنة ثمان وتوفي صلى الله عليه وسلم في ربيع الأول سنة عشر .
