Capricorn Coast is a national park in Queensland, Australia, 535 km northwest of Brisbane.

It is situated at the southern edge of the tropics the Tropic of Capricorn cuts the country about in half.

Southern Cone (, ) is a geographic region composed of the southernmost areas of South America, south of and around the Tropic of Capricorn.

The south temperate zone extends from the Tropic of Capricorn (approximately 23.5 south latitude) to the Antarctic Circle (at approximately 66.5 south latitude).
