The introduction of non native species or diseases, including from ballast water and hull fouling, is a global concern.

It's clear that it's not easy to know which ballast to drop and which altitude to take. Sometime we need friends, family members or a psychiatrist.

The Indian middle class will grow rapidly, providing the country with valuable ballast that will keep it on an even keel in the next few decades.

60. Welcomes the convening by the International Maritime Organization of a diplomatic conference to adopt an international convention for the control and management of ships' ballast waters and sediments
